Privacy Policy

IData We Access and Collect

Sign in with Google or Apple. When you sign in, we receive the following through the provider’s OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect flow:

• Your name and email address, used to identify you and decide what you may access.
• The provider’s account identifier for you, used only to recognise the same account at sign-in.

We request only the basic sign-in scopes (for Google: openid, email and profile). We do not access your contacts, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, photos or any other information in your Google or Apple account. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email”, we receive Apple’s relay address rather than your own.

Access codes. If you enter an access code instead of signing in, we collect no personal identity. We record only that a valid code was entered.

The sign-in cookie. Signing in or entering a code sets one signed, secure cookie holding the details above. We do not keep a separate account database for sign-in.

Meeting invitations. If an organiser invites you to a meeting, we store the name and email address they enter, and the time you choose, so that the invitation and its calendar entry work.

Server logs. Our servers record your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when, and — for security — sign-in and access-code attempts.

Viewer counts. While a player is open it reports a random, temporary identifier so we can count viewers. It is held in memory for about a minute and never stored.

Broadcast content. Video and audio sent to the Service from the studio or by authorised broadcasters is recorded and stored.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not collect location data, device identifiers for tracking, or any other personal information.

IIHow We Use Your Data

We use the data described above solely to provide and protect the Service:

• To sign you in, keep you signed in, and decide which parts of the Service you may use.
• To run meeting invitations you have been sent.
• To keep the Service secure and working — for example, limiting repeated wrong access codes and investigating misuse.

We will never use your data, including any Google or Apple user data, for:

• Marketing, advertising or promotional communications;
• Selling, licensing or otherwise transferring data to data brokers, advertisers or any third party;
• Training artificial intelligence or machine learning models;
• Building profiles unrelated to the Service;
• Any purpose not described in this Privacy Policy.

Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

IIIData Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade or share your data for advertising, marketing, analytics or profiling. We share data only in these narrow circumstances:

• Infrastructure providers. The Service runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, which hosts our servers and stores data on our behalf. Google and Apple act as identity providers when you sign in with them. Some pages load open-source player code from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and fonts from Google Fonts, which receive your IP address when your browser fetches them. These providers process data only on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations, and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
• Legal compliance. We may disclose data if required by valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Bazzy TV, our users or the public. Where permitted, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users.
• Business transfers. If the Service is part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, data may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any successor will be bound by this Privacy Policy, and users will be notified of any material change.

IVData Storage and Protection

• Encryption in transit. The Service is available only over HTTPS.
• Encryption at rest. Data is stored in encrypted form on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the United States.
• Access controls. Access to stored data is limited to authorised personnel with a legitimate operational need.
• No stored provider tokens. We use Google’s and Apple’s tokens only to confirm who you are at the moment you sign in. We do not keep access or refresh tokens, and we never see or store your password.

No system can guarantee absolute security, but we review our practices to keep your data safe.

VData Retention and Deletion

• Your sign-in expires after 12 hours; an access-code session expires after 30 days. Signing out removes it at once.
• Meeting invitations are kept until the organiser removes them or you ask us to delete them.
• Server logs are kept on a rolling basis and overwritten as newer logs are written.

To have your data deleted, email privacy@bazzy.tv. We will process your request within 30 days. When we delete your data, we permanently remove it from our production systems; residual copies in routine encrypted backups are overwritten on our standard backup rotation cycle (no longer than 30 days), after which no trace of your data remains.

You can revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or to your Apple ID under Sign in with Apple at account.apple.com. Revoking access prevents future sign-in; to delete data we already hold, contact us.

VIChildren’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

VIIChanges to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes to how we handle Google or Apple user data, we will tell users before the change takes effect and, where required, ask for consent. The “Updated” date above shows the latest revision.
